Ashar, the Sand Mother is a unique monster and the boss of the third floor of the Trial of the Sekhemas. Its skills deal Chaos damage.

Abilities

• Claw Attack: Quickly attacks forward with a claw jab.
• Poison Slam: Charges up poison in her tail before slamming the area directly in front
• Tail Swipe: Does a 270 degree sweep around her with her tail, but does not hit immediately near her
• Tail Flip: Does a roll forward, then stands up on her tail, followed by Poison Shots.
  • Poison Shots: While standing on her tail, she fires two consecutive shots of poison from her claws multiple times.
• Burrow: After Poison Shots, she will burrow into the sand, jumping out to attack with a dive bomb before burrowing again. Creates areas of Quicksand; can be stopped by standing on tiles.

Ashar's melee attacks can be avoided by going behind her. She creates a slowing trail of quicksand while burrowing.

Ashar burrows in the sand periodically, jumping out to attack in a dive-bomb. While doing so, she creates areas of Quicksand which inflict a stackable debuff that reduces action speed. She can be forced out of the sand by standing on one of the four square tiles, though this will trigger one of four traps:

• Poison darts fire across the room in three overlapping # shapes
• Creates a gas cloud
• Spawns several scarab minions
• Nothing

The specific trap will remain the same throughout the fight, though the location of each trap is random.
