Charged Staff

Charged Staff is a spell skill requiring a quarterstaff. It imbues your quarterstaff with additional flat lightning damage (scaling linear with the power charges it consumed) for a limited time. Additionally, while your staff is affected by the buff any attack skill used with the quarterstaff will cause a wave to be shot. You cannot gain Power Charges while using this SkillSkills can be managed in the Skills Panel. that perform multiple hits, each hit triggers a wave.

Skill functions and interactions

• The consumed power charges do not alter the shockwaves sent out directly, but the added damage from the buff does affect the shockwaves
• The triggered waves are not projectiles and will not be modified by projectile modifiers or support gems.
• Waves will also be fired if no enemy is hit my the attack
• Waves from this skill always pierce
• Reactivating the skill while the buff is still active will consume all your power charges to extend the buff by 6s per power charge and increases the power charge counter of the buff (which increases the flat added damage). This does not allow you to bypass the max up to your maximum power charges restriction
• While this is a spell gem, it cannot be triggered.
