A Lost Tower (sometimes referred to as a Precursor Tower) is a node on the Atlas that can reveal a large area on the Atlas around it once completed. Additionally, tablets can be inserted into a tower to add additional map mechanic encounters to surrounding maps. If multiple towers are close enough together it is possible to overlap a single map with several tablet effects.

Each tower can grant the effect of one active tablet.
Once completed, it can activate the effect of one precursor tablet to affect maps within its range, adding encounters or other modifiers to random surrounding maps.
