Crossbow
Crossbow is an item class of two-handed martial ranged weapons that require strength and dexterity to equip. While it shares some similarities to a bow, crossbows fire bolts instantly and require reloading ammo to use and enhance skills.

Bolt skills
Bolt skills are crossbow exclusive Projectile Attack skills that fire a clip of bolts. Types of Bolts that are loaded are determined by the crossbow Ammunition which modifies the effects of the crossbow attack. Crossbow's standard attack skill Crossbow Shot that uses Basic Bolt skill does not cost any mana to fire while all other bolt skills only cost mana when reloading the crossbow.

Ammunition skills
Ammunition skills (or "ammo") are crossbow-exclusive skills that can be used to load a crossbow with a clip of bolts. This replaces the Crossbow's basic attack with the skill indicated by the ammo. Loaded bolts can be fired a set number of times before reloading.

Basic Bolt is granted by default when equipping a Crossbow.
Attachment skills
Attachment skills are crossbow-exclusive skills that are specifically equipped into the off-hand equipment slot while wielding a crossbow. They visually attach to the underside of your crossbow, and only one attachment can be used at once. Equipped attachment skills add the skill to your skills menu, where they can be linked to support gems. They do not take up one of your default skill gem sockets. Attachment skills can be modified by support gems like any other skill gem.
