Defeating a [[pinnacle encounter]] of a given map mechanic will give two points for that mechanic's section of the tree. In those trees, the small nodes will increase the difficulty of the pinnacle encounter, while the notables will augment the mechanic's rewards. Earning more points for those trees require defeating their pinnacle encounter at higher and higher difficulties.
