A Lost Tower (sometimes referred to as a Precursor Tower) is a node on the Atlas that can reveal a large area on the Atlas around it once completed. Additionally, tablets can be inserted into a tower to add additional map mechanic encounters to surrounding maps. If multiple towers are close enough together it is possible to overlap a single map with several tablet effects.
Each tower can grant the effect of one active tablet.
