Shield: Difference between revisions

A shield is an item class of off-hand equipment that counts as both armour and off-hand equipment. They provide base defences based on their attribute alignment and a chance to block. Shields come with a skill that granting the user an active block mechanic.

Types of shields

There are 2 main categories of shields:

Armoured Shields, which provide Armour or Armour-hybrid defences, and grants the Raise Shield skill
- "Tower Shield" - Strength - Armour - Shield Bash applies Daze
- "Targe" - Strength/Dexterity - Armour/Evasion
- "Crest Shield" - Strength/Intelligence - Armour/Energy Shield
Bucklers, Dexterity-aligned shields that provide Evasion and grants the Parry skill
