Castaway is a unique map. It appears within the water biome.

Layout

Castaway is composed of a large circular rocky shore littered with piles of Gold. A small elevated area near the centre of the map contains several spirits flying around in a circle, marking buried treasure.

A large platform of wooden planks marks the boss arena for the map boss Torrek of the Drowned Fleet.

Mechanics

After defeating Torrek of the Drowned Fleet, a Rotten Satchel Charge will drop nearby.

Players can take this instance-local item to the area marked by the spirits flying in a circle and click it to detonate it, revealing buried treasure - several hundred thousands of Gold. Excavating this buried treasure counts as completing the map, not when you kill the map boss.
