Predatory Instinct is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Amazon that causes sections of a Rare or Unique enemy's life bar to have Open Weaknesses. You deal more damage against enemies whose life bar has an Open Weakness.

Revealed Weaknesses are highlighted on enemy Life bars, and occupy a total of 45% of their maximum Life (but in random segments). While the enemy's current Life is within a highlighted segment, they are considered to have an Open Weakness.
Open Weaknesses are visually distinct on an enemy's life bar. While Open Weaknesses do not inherently have any effects, they enable other stats such as the more damage modifier on Predatory Instinct or the movement and skill speed buffs granted by In for the Kill.
