Ezomyte runes are items that can be socketed into martial weapons and armour. Socketed runes will add enchantment modifiers to their items, granting generic offensive modifiers to martial weapons and defensive modifiers to armour. Once socketed, runes cannot be removed. Runes are mechanically similar to soul cores.
