This subpage provides documentation for Template:Dubious.

This template flags a statement that seems dubious or unlikely.

Usage

Place this template after a statement to raise a concern about its veracity or to indicate that its source may be incorrect with regard to that specific statement.

The article this template appears on will automatically be added to Category:Articles with disputed statements.

It is recommended to open a discussion about the dubious statement on the article's talk page. Use the first unnamed parameter or |talk= to link to a specific section of the talk page where the dubious statement is being discussed.

To show editors at a glance why the flagged statement is questionable, use |reason=. This replaces the tooltip text with the stated reason.
