Decaying Hex Not Needed to Spread Curses with Contagion
I just tested w/ Despair + Contagion and found that despair spreads to other monsters through contagion even if Despair is not supported by Decaying Hex. The Decaying Hex Special Interaction on this page suggests that you need Decaying Hex to support the curse in order for the contagion spread effect to work. This is not the case.
