Accuracy is used to hit a target with an attack, and is checked against the target's Evasion to determine that chance.
Every point of Dexterity grants +5 accuracy.
Mechanics
Accuracy is weighed against the target's evasion when determining if an attack hits or misses according to:
Chance to hit can not be lower than 5% but can reach 100%.
- Effects that state Can't be Evaded or Always Hit (e.g. Resolute Technique,
Killing Palm) will raise the chance to hit to 100%, ignoring all accuracy and evasion stats of the attacker and defender respectively.
- Cannot Evade (e.g. Unwavering Stance) does the same, in reverse; all skills against the subject will hit regardless of accuracy.
Spell do not benefit from accuracy, though spells against the player can be evaded.
Accuracy penalty
Player and minion attacks incur an accuracy penalty based on distance from the origin of the damage to the target, with no penalty for targets within 2 metres and up to 90% less Accuracy for targets further than 12 metres away.
