Price of Power is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Lich that causes your non-channelling spells to consume a power charge to deal more damage whenever possible.

Mechanics

Using a non-channelling skill will always attempt to consume one power charge per skill use. If no power charges can be consumed, the skill will still work as normal, but will not gain the damage bonus.
