Recoup
Recoup is a mechanic that recovers an amount of life, mana, or energy shield over time, based on the damage taken (or prevented) from a hit.
Mechanics
The amount recoup recovers is based on a percentage of hit damage taken, calculated after damage mitigation such as resistance. Recoup stacks; each instance is independent.
Recouping normally occurs over 8 seconds, meaning a value of 40% of Damage taken Recouped as Life recovers 5% of the damage taken per second. This duration may be modified through stats such as the 25% increased speed of Recoup effects passive found on the Pliable Flesh notable, granting the same total recovery over an altered duration.
Recoup instances are not removed when the relevant resource is filled.
