Shapeshifting will disable your main hand and off hand] slots. As a result, any skills granted by items in these slots and their stats are disabled. This also means that skill(s) reserving spirit from a sceptre may be turned off if the remaining unreserved spirit is inadequate for the total reservation. This is an intended mechanic, but may be changed in the future.
