Energy Shield protects Mana instead of Life

Eldritch Battery is a keystone passive skill that makes energy shield protect mana instead of life, and causes your skills to spend energy shield before mana.
Mechanics
Spend Energy Shield before Mana for Skill Mana Costs: allows paying mana costs by spending energy shield.
- This does not change mana costs into energy shield costs. The cost is affected by mana cost modifiers.
- Energy shield recharge is not interrupted by energy shield spent to pay costs. Unless interrupted by damage to mana or energy shield, energy shield will continually recharge.
- Energy shield can only be spent for mana costs.
Energy Shield protects Mana instead of Life: allows energy shield to protect mana from damage, such as through Mind Over Matter.
- Damage taken to energy shield or mana this way will interrupt energy shield recharge.
- Damage that bypasses energy shield, such as chaos damage, will still bypass energy shield and directly damage mana.
