Death occurs when the life of a character or monster reaches 0. After dying, a player can choose to respawn in their last visited town, at their last visited checkpoint, or at the beginning of their current area. When a party member dies, they will stay dead until revived by a party member. Experience will not be lost on death in the campaign.

Dead party members can be revived by other party members. The revive action requires a player to channel for a few seconds, and the reviving player can be interrupted by taking damage.
