This subpage provides documentation for Template:Citation needed.

This template flags a claim that needs to be substantiated with a reliable source.

Usage

Place this template after a statement that ought to have a citation. Not every single statement on the wiki needs a citation, especially those that can be easily confirmed in game. If the statement requires confirmation, use {{confirm}} instead.

The article this template appears on will automatically be added to Category:Articles with unsourced statements‎.

A reason can be specified using |reason=. This replaces the tooltip text with the stated reason.
