Grinding Gear Games (GGG) is video game developer based on Auckland, New Zealand. The company was founded on November 2006 by Chris Wilson, Jonathan Rogers, and Erik Olofsson. The company was majority-acquired by Tencent on May 2018, then fully acquired on March 2024.
GGG is best known for their first title, Path of Exile, which officially released on October 23, 2013. They are currently developing the sequel, Path of Exile 2, which entered Early Access on December 6, 2024. A mobile prequel tentatively titled Path of Exile Mobile is also in development.
