This subpage provides documentation for Template:Stub.

This template is used to indicate that an article is a stub.

Usage

This template should be placed at the top of any article that provides insufficient coverage of a subject. The article will be automatically added to Category:Stubs.

Do not use this template for articles that provide sufficient coverage of a subject, but have other issues that need to be addressed. Instead, consider using one of the following maintenance notice templates:

  • {{Cleanup}} – article has quality standards issues that require it to be rewritten
  • {{Update}} – article contains out-of-date information
